St. Louis

This summer we also had to chance to go to St. Louis to visit Chelsey, Daniel, Koston, Jak, and new baby Penny. It was so much fun! We went straight from the airport to the Arch and took a ride to the top. You could see everything from up there. Some of us also took the tour at the brewery that owns the majority of St. Louis. We ate frozen custard way too much at the famous Ted Drew's which made all of us very happy. Then, on Sunday we were able to see Penny's baby blessing.

These are the weird little cabins that you sit in and ride to the top of the arch. They are so tiny and you feel like it's going to break the whole way to the top. And there are no windows so you you can't see outside until you reach the top.

Here is the view from the top. On the other side you could see the Mississippi River go on forever.

The Anheiser-Busch factory is so large and beautiful. Koston always loves going to the brewery because they give you free lemonade and pretzels at the end.

The Clydesdales at Anheiser-Busch

Here me, Clayton, and Koston are eating at Ted Drew's again. They seriously have the best frozen custard ever! The place is always super busy when you go there.

And here is sweet Penny.

Utah Trip

Over Labor Day we went back up to Utah and had so much fun! We went up to the Payson property and made dinner over a fire. We played games, went to the local carnival, hung out with our good friends the Barrett's, and spent the rest of the time hanging out at Leslee and LeGrand's house as usual. It was so much fun and the weather was so beautiful. It was also really nice of my old office to come and let me work for the day on Friday. It was really fun to help with some surgeries again. We love Utah! Can't wait to go back and visit again!

Beat The Heat Golf at Work

Arizona- 80 Degrees- August? Today Staubach had a "Beat the Heat" Golf Tournament up in Payson at The Rim Club. The weather was great and the course was amazing. It was a lot of fun to be up there and I highly recommend the course to any one interested. My team ended up winning (I wasn't much help) and we had lunch up there afterwards.

Meet Penny Grace Adams!

My sister Chelsey had her baby today! She doesn't have a name yet, but I am sure whatever it is it will just as adorable as she is. She was 7 lbs 1 oz and 20 in long. She has the whitest hair I have ever seen which is so surprising! Both of her boys have had such dark hair and olive skin her new baby girl definately stands out! I will post more pictures later when I get them.

Clayton's Family Reunion in St George

Our family rented out this old mill for the weekend for our Reunion. It was a cool place- all old buildings with a bunch of old equipment from the old mill that used to be there.

This beer was proudly on display at the WalMart- "Polygamy Porter- Why have just one?"

Shalayne got to see her friend Chelsea before the Le Reve show- she is one of the performers and got us great seats for the show!

Me and Shalayne in front of the waterfall on the 18th hole of the golf course at the Wynn- its only 5 hundi a round during the summer....?

Two weekends ago we went to my family's reunion in St George. It was a weekend of good old strange family fun- you know how reunions are. We slipped away on Saturday night to go meet Shalayne's friend in Vegas and watch Le Reve at the Wynn- It was awesome- highly recommended if your in town looking for a good show. Also recommended: No limit tables at the Wynn and 79 cent ice cream cones from McDonalds...

Las Palomas Rocky Point

In May we took a trip down Las Palomas in Rocky Point Mexico. It was a much needed vacation and an escape from the heat down to the water. We went with my family and our friends Wade, Jenn, Dave & Julie from San Diego. Las Palomas is a Great resort that i would recommend to any one going down to Mexico- It has a huge pool area, Gym, Restaurants, Amazing Golf, a Spa- definitely not the Rocky Point of old. Condos come in 1 bedroom small places to the 5 bedroom Penthouse and very reasonable off of Craiglist.org.
