My LATE Bday Tribute!

Happy Late Birthday to my best friend in the whole world, Kristen! I can't believe you are 23 you old fart! Anyways here are some things I love about Kristen...
1. Her favorite holiday is Valentine's Day (probably because it's 2 days after her birthday and she always had a boyfriend growing up.)
2. She has more energy than anyone I know and always wants to do something with it.
3. She loves spooning! She would always cuddle with me when we shared our Belmont room!
4. She met her husband while she had braces. Now that's true love.
5. She had bangs until high school and didn't have a flat iron. It was a bad combo but she pulled it off great.
6. She is the most honest person in the whole world! I mean it, ask her anything and she'll tell the truth.
7. She can't do serious or kissing faces in pictures so we always practiced.
8. But most of all she is the greatest friend and I am so grateful for that.

Thanks for always being there for me Kristen. I don't know what I would do without you. Hopefully someday we will live in the same state again. I miss you.

James Stevens

James Dustin Stevens

James Dustin Stevens, 25, of Mesa passed away February 2, 2008 in an automobile accident. Born in Mesa, AZ, 11 August 1982, he was the son of Wayne & Lisa Wyatt, and Bruce Stevens. Those who knew James will never forget his easy happy nature & vast heart. A friend to old & young, he treasured the little ones in his life. Children gave him great joy. He lived life to the fullest-- hunting & fishing, cooking, video gaming, trampoline jumping. James was fun. How can we say how much we miss you! Moments before his passing, he planned a snowboarding trip w/ cousins & friends and was driving to work where his folks depended on him to manage their Taco Time/Samurai Sam's Restaurant. A Westwood High grad & Eagle Scout, he served a mission, and attended Mesa CC, studying Const. Mgt. He looked forward to marriage & family life. He is survived by his parents, Lisa & Wayne Wyatt, and their children & grandchildren: Chaleece (Jeremy) Sandberg; Stephanie (Dan) Filbrun; Jared (Charity) Wyatt; Clayton (Shalayne) Wyatt; Taylor Wyatt; Doug Stevens; Lynsie Wyatt; and little Wendy; his grandparents: Al Stevens, Milli Packard, John & Elisa Wyatt, and Ingeborg Stumbecker; and many loving aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Stevens. Funeral services Saturday, February 9th, 10am, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Beverly Chapel, w/Viewing 9am; 1054 W 2nd Pl. at N Beverly (1 block E of Alma School, S of Univ). Arrangements Allen Funeral Home, 1130 S Horne, Mesa; 480-833-1716.

Here is the last picture we took of all the boys.

Some pictures at the cemetery

There were so many people that came to James' funeral it was really nice. I think everybody there could feel the Spirit so strongly in the chapel. It was He was such a great guy and anyone that knew him loved him. It was great of everybody to come to the funeral and support our family and honor the life of James. We all loved him very much and will miss him dearly.

President Hinckley

June 23, 1910 - January 27, 2008
I am so sad that President Gordon B. Hinckley has passed away. He was such a sweet man and I am going to miss him so much. I am happy that he is able to return to his sweet wife Sister Hinckley in heaven though.

Happy Birthday Clayton!!!

Happy Birthday Clayton! Yesterday was Clayton's birthday. He is now the big 2-6! For anybody that doesn't know Clayton, let me tell you a little bit about him. He is always up for anything. I have never met someone more willing to try anything and have a good attitude about it. Not only will he try anything, but he is good at everything! He has so many talents it's unbelievable! They range from snowboarding, wakeboarding, playing any sport, sewing, carving pumpkins, and decorating gingerbread houses! He also hates mayonnaise more than anyone in the whole world. I love him so much. We have only been married for 8 months but it has been a blast. I love him so much it is crazy! And I love him for loving me so unconditionally! He is such a great guy, friend, and husband. Hope you have the best birthday ever!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

I know I am way late in my posting but here are a couple pictures from our trip back home. We had so much fun hanging out with all of our family. We went to see temple lights one night with Claytons family and it was so much fun! Isn't the Mesa temple beautiful?!!!

Here are a couple of pictures of our New Years Eve. We went to Lisa & Eric's house to ring in the new year. It was such a fun night of games and lots of laughs.
