Our October

We have been lucky to so close to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. It has been great to be able to visit so often for our date nights. Clayton has also been successful in convincing Chelsey's kids that we live in the Hollywood Tower of Terror.

Chelsey had her baby. Little Milo is so sweet i could smother him with kisses all day long. We are glad he finally made his appearance and is healthy and happy.
One our favorite places in Brentwood. They have the best homemade ice cream ever.

We are still alive...

I realized how long it has been since I updated our blog. That is some serious neglect. We are in fact alive and well here in California. We have kept busy the past 3 months... very busy.We have had lots of visitors, weekly trips to Carlsbad to visit family and friends, a fun trip to Utah for Labor Day, and lots of fun exploring our new home with each other. I am getting so anxious for the holidays to come. I can't wait for a trip to AZ.

Lacy visiting

Lots of Labor Day fun in Provo

I love that I get to see at lot more of these munchkins nowadays!

Glad the Harris girls made a trip to Utah also.

Love quality time with dad. I wish the two of us could go on horse rides everyday.

The move

Santa Monica pier with the family

Yoga on the beach

The Blue Plate restaurant

Eating burritos at the beach for dinner while C goes surfing

The view I have down the street from my home.

I get to see these lovelies more often now!

Everyday on my way to work I get to pass the LA temple. It is beautiful and has been a great way to start my days.
Walking around our new neighborhood

Well it really happened. We moved to California. I had mixed feelings about it... I was nervous, scared, excited and everything else. My mom was so nice to cram into our moving truck and drive out with us. We had lots of help unloading from the Elder's Quorum in our new ward and after a long first day, we are now Santa Monica residents. I am so glad my mom came and helped us unpack otherwise I would probably still be working on it. Since we have been here we have been making the most out of it. Lots of shopping, yoga on the beach, Ferris wheel rides, and Farmer's Market trips. So far I am not disappointed, we are really enjoying it here and hope to have more visitors soon.

Happy 4th of July!

To celebrate the 4th most of our family went to Carlsbad to crash at Chelsey and Daniel's. Since Clayton has already moved out to California and I am in Arizona still I was so excited to be able to see him. We had a lot of great beach days and I managed to keep from getting sunburned. That in itself is a huge accomplishment.
Clayton and I drove up north to LA and were successful in finding a place to call home for the next couple of years. We found a quaint little home in Santa Monica that is about a mile away from the beach. I can't really ask for more.
Aviara put on such a great firework show, as they usually do, that I don't think we will ever be able to spend another 4th of July in AZ. I truly did feel blessed this 4th, and am thankful for those who have fought for our freedom.

Southern Caribbean 2011

Puerto Rico- We started our cruise in Puerto Rico which was amazing! We stayed at the St. Regis resort for 2 days had tons of fun kayaking, golfing, and swimming. We did some sight seeing and saw so many great things! Puerto Rico was beautiful we would love to come back.

St. Thomas- St. Thomas was just as beautiful and clean as Puerto Rico. We were so lucky to meet up with the nicest lady who gave us a tour of the whole island.

Barbados- While on Barbados, we went snorkeling and swam with tons of sea turtles. They were not shy and didn't mind us chasing and petting them.

St. Lucia- After taking a boat tour we were able to stop and snorkel around St. Lucia.

St. Kitts- Here we enjoyed our own beach day. We rented snorkels and got some amazing videos of all the fish in the ocean.

St. Maarten- On St. Maarten there were plenty of cute shops to see. We shopped around and made our way to the beach for... more snorkeling! Such a fun cruise with some great friends. This trip was a much needed vacation before Clayton buckles down and starts MBA school at Pepperdine. Hopefully it isn't to long until our next cruise.
